Job Summary
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing / HVAC Assistant Project Manager to join our Orange County, CA team. This role is ideal for a local candidate with a stable work history who is passionate about managing complex commercial mechanical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all phases of commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Gantt charts, ensuring all project milestones are met.
- Accurately estimate and manage change orders, ensuring stakeholders document and approve all adjustments.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Apply your experience in various sectors such as pharmaceuticals, laboratories, educational facilities, data centers, hospitals, hotels, and arenas to deliver successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing project management.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools (including Gantt charts), estimating software, and project management platforms.
- Must be a local candidate with a demonstrated history of stable employment in the industry.
- Proven experience managing projects in sectors such as pharma, labs, schools, data centers, hospitals, hotels, and arenas is highly desirable.
