Job Description
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - East Texas
Full-Time | Autonomy & Flexibility | Up to $75K Sign-On | W-2 Hospital-Employed
A growing hospital in Northeast Texas, conveniently located between Dallas and Shreveport, is looking for full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join their dedicated anesthesia team. This hospital-employed W-2 role offers CRNAs professional autonomy, respect, and an excellent work-life balance within a collaborative and supportive environment.
In this position, you'll provide anesthesia care for a broad range of cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, urology, gynecology, robotics, and pediatrics-excluding cardiac cases. You'll also manage independent obstetric anesthesia coverage with epidurals and spinals, without overnight OR call since in-house OB coverage is provided separately. The team culture fosters respectful collaboration between CRNAs and MD anesthesiologists, encouraging open communication and mutual support.
Flexible shift scheduling options allow you to select 8, 12, 16- or 24-hour OB shifts, with prioritization given for time off requests to support your personal life.
Compensation and benefits include :
Competitive base salary of $220,000-$300,000
Guaranteed premium hours and overtime opportunities
Shift differentials with holiday pay at 1.5x
Up to $75,000 sign-on bonus or student stipend
Paid time off starting at 180 hours on Day 1, increasing to 240 hours after one year
CME allowance of 40 hours plus $2,500
Malpractice coverage with $1M / $3M limits
403(b) retirement plan with employer match
Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance
East Texas offers a high quality of life with plenty of outdoor recreation-boating, fishing, hunting-and a low cost of living with no traffic hassles. The region features excellent public and private schools and is within easy reach of Dallas and Shreveport for nightlife and shopping.
The hospital's anesthesia department prides itself on a culture of autonomy, collaboration, and mutual respect. CRNAs are empowered to practice independently while receiving ample support from approachable leadership focused on professional development and work-life balance.
