We are seeking a skilled network engineer with a strong focus on Fortinet products to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Fortinet-based network solutions.
Hybrid three days a week Lexington, MA 0242 0.
Responsibilities
- Configure and optimize FortiGate NGFW, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and other network security devices
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security and performance
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Escalation point for network-related issues
- Participate in projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a network engineer, with a focus on Fortinet products
- Experience configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitches, and FortiAPs
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, STP, NAT, DNS, DHCP, CAPWAP, 802.11, 802.1q, LACP, VLANs, IKEv2, IPSEC, etc.)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Certifications such as Fortinet NSE 4 / 5 / 6
