We are seeking a customer service representative / cashier that reports directly to the Coordinator of Student Accounts and is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all users of the Bursar's Office as well as entering payments through the Colleague cashiering system.
This is a part-time, hourly position.
Example of Duties :
- Provide excellent customer service
- Record and reconcile all payments through the Colleague cashiering system
- Analyze financial information pertaining to billing, which can include scholarship, state, and federal awards.
- Assist students with self-service and payment plans on the web
- Enter data into the Colleague system as needed to keep student records up-to-date
- Assist in paper and email billing
- Make outgoing calls to students regarding due dates and other important information
- Answer any questions relating to payments, refunds, and PCCC student processes
- Assist with any other duties as assigned
Schedule :
Weekdays. Must be available to work Thursdays from 11 : 00 am until 7 : 00 pm if required.
Qualifications
- Must have obtained a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of cashiering, and reconciling cash drawer
- High mathematical aptitude
- Excellent customer, analytical, and reconciling cash drawer
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to organize and coordinate large workloads in timely and effective manner
- Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations preferred
- Knowledge of college enrollment management services preferred
- Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague preferred
- Bilingual preferred
