We are seeking a dynamic Safety Manager to join our client’s passionate sales team. As the Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of safety across all job sites.
You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, implementing comprehensive safety programs, providing training, and collaborating with clients and project managers to integrate safety protocols seamlessly.

Focus :
- Conduct safety inspections on job sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance
- Develop and maintain safety programs, including Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments
- Provide on-site safety guidance and support to field teams
- Collaborate with clients and project managers on safety standards and requirements
- Facilitate weekly safety meetings and training sessions
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, implementing corrective measures
- Stay up-to-date with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety.
Skill Set :
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering) is preferred but not required.
- At least 5 years of experience in safety inspections, preferably in construction, demolition, or industrial sectors
- Excellent knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey safety information
- Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred
- Familiarity with the Chicago and surrounding areas, including municipalities and local regulations
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work on-site and navigate various job locations within a 50-mile radius of downtown Chicago
- Construction Plant Safety (CPS) Certification is a plus
