Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to join our Front Desk team. The ideal candidate uses their engaging personality to create a memorable first impression for our guests.

While checking in, registering guests, the Front Desk Agent is a source of knowledge for the guest for everything about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area.

Your Role : Help guests discover their Wanderlust experience Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest Check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.

Help to resolve problems and WOW guests through recovery when things aren’t quite right Promote and sell special hotel programs.

Interact with hotel / resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information. Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.

Communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty. Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.

Assist other departments as needed. Ensures that all room discrepancies are cleared Maintains a neat and orderly control desk and area Complete job duties as listed on their shift checklist in a timely manner and alerts manager or supervisor if assistance is needed Coordinates out of order rooms with housekeeping Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day Maintain complete knowledge at all times of : All hotel features / services, hours of operation Daily house count and expected arrivals / departures Communicate services and amenities of the hotel to guests Qualifications QUALIFICATION High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate Compute basic arithmetic Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data Ability to input and access information in the property management system / computers / point of sales system Excellent phone & verbal communication skills Flexible schedule PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Requires frequent sitting, standing and walking.

Requires occasional crouching, bending, pushing / pulling, and lifting / carrying of up to 25 lbs. Requires frequent manual dexterity, fine, and gross motor skills, and constant vision, and hearing.
