Description : Basic Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern / Assistant to join our Finance team. The intern will assist the accounting department with day-to-day tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the month-end close process. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mortgage accounting and learn how finance supports real estate lending operations.
Responsibilities :
- Daily & Monthly reconciliations including but not limited to, Borrower Loan Imports, Online Payments, Upfronts & Escrow repair.
- Assist the servicing & accounting / finance teams with day-to-day operations.
- Communicate with vendors in regard to setting up services, invoice issues, etc.
- Assist with Marketing budgets, reconciliation and communication.
- Annual Business Property Tax Declarations by location.
- Various other tasks as the position grows.
