A company is looking for a 508 Testing Specialist to join their Quality Assurance team.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct manual testing for compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 guidelines

Use assistive technologies to evaluate accessibility features and document defects

Collaborate with teams to provide feedback and maintain test plans and reports

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of manual testing experience, with 2 years focused on Section 508 and accessibility testing

Proficiency in using assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)

Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 standards and Section 508 requirements

Experience with accessibility testing tools such as WAVE, Axe, or Lighthouse

Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
