As a Registered Nurse at, Santa Rosa Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients.
Shift : 8 hours with required call as needed
Requirements :
- Must be a graduate of an Nursing program and possess a current / clear Registered Nurse License for the State of Florida, and have, at least, 2-4 years of experience.
- 2-4 years prior Cath Lab Nursing experience required .
- 2-4 years prior nursing experience required .
- BLS and ACLS required prior to hire.
Position Duties :
- Performs a variety of tasks to include, but not limited, to demonstration of all Cath Lab procedures.
- Expected to learn Stress Lab procedures, PICC / Midline Insertion and EKG duties.
- Strong surgical conscience. Aware of sterile processing.
- Maintains skills necessary for IV Catheter insertion, and demonstrates proper skills preparing and administering medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Follows AORN standards.
- Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
