Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver Non CDL Route Delivery to work in our distribution warehouse within 30 miles of Bartlett, IL.
CompensationAverage annual salary $55,000-$65,000 per year which includes : * Hourly wage of $19.50 per hour* Overtime paid after 40 hours per week* Typical work week is 50-55 hours per week* Weekly paychecksBenefits* Medical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Life* PTO (Personal and Vacation Days)* Paid Holidays* Career advancement opportunitiesWork Schedule* 5-day work week : Monday-Saturday, off Sunday and Wednesday* Start times typically 10 : 00am;
work until work is completed, usually 10-12 hours per day* No layovers, home every day* Redeliveries and same-day deliveries within 150-mile radius of Bartlett, IL* Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needsResponsibilities* Route delivery, driver unload using ramp and 2-wheel hand cart* Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to restaurants, schools, and end users* Drive 15' box truck to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations* Secure pallets using straps.
Strap and unstrap at each delivery.* Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections* Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance* Use of keys, alarm codes, tablets, etc.
for overnight deliveries* Provide excellent customer service* Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle* Reporting maintenance / repair issues on tractors and trailersRequirements* Prior local route delivery experience highly preferred* Local, multiple-stop delivery using ramp and hand cart* Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen* Hold a valid Illinois Drivers' License* Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses* Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions;
