Currently offering positions on Nights*
Shift : 7 : 00pm-7 : 30am with rotating weekends and holidays
Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice.
Patient Population :
Patients with a primary respiratory diagnosis requiring complex nursing care including but not limited to :
BIPAP / CPAP
Tracheostomies
Chest Tubes
High Flow O2
COPD / CHF Patients
Lung Cancer Patients
Cardiac Monitoring

Salary Details :
Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within organization.
Minimum rate starting at $31.50, max of salary range is $50.35. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.50.
For new graduate RN candidates who complete a ASN program starting rate is $31.50 and for new graduate RN candidates who complete a BSN program starting rate is $32.45*
Required Qualifications :
Require Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of hire for experienced RN or one (1) year for new graduate, and maintain throughout employment.
Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) required within three (3) years of hire date.
Require successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within ninety (90) days of employment
Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications :
Prefer certification in nursing specialty area
Mandatory Education :
RNs - ASN and requires BSN within 5 yrs of employment
Preferred Education :
BSN : Bachelor of Science Nursing
Required License and Certs :
BLS : Basic Life Support / CPR
FL RN : FL Registered Nurse License
