About The Position
Location : Connecticut (CT)
Position : Locum Tenens - Ophthalmology Physician
Start Date : As soon as credentialed
Coverage Needed :
- 6+ shifts per month
- Monday-Friday : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM with call
- Weeknight Call : Monday-Thursday, 5 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 AM
- Weekend Call : Friday 5 : 00 PM - Monday 8 : 00 AM
Worksite Setting :
- Outpatient clinic and surgery
- Newly built outpatient pavilion with state-of-the-art ophthalmology suite
- Convenient skywalk connecting the outpatient pavilion to the operating room
Scope of Work :
- General Ophthalmology (OPH) and / or Optometry (OPT)
- Perform cataract surgeries and other ophthalmic surgical procedures
- Evaluate and surgically treat trauma cases
- Subspecialty focus in glaucoma is preferred
Licenses, Certifications, & Requirements :
- Connecticut (CT) license preferred; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) considered
- Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO)
- DEA license required EMR System :
- EPIC
- EPIC
