About The Position

Location : Connecticut (CT)

Position : Locum Tenens - Ophthalmology Physician

Start Date : As soon as credentialed

Coverage Needed :

• 6+ shifts per month
• Monday-Friday : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM with call
• Weeknight Call : Monday-Thursday, 5 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 AM
• Weekend Call : Friday 5 : 00 PM - Monday 8 : 00 AM

Worksite Setting :

• Outpatient clinic and surgery
• Newly built outpatient pavilion with state-of-the-art ophthalmology suite
• Convenient skywalk connecting the outpatient pavilion to the operating room

Scope of Work :

• General Ophthalmology (OPH) and / or Optometry (OPT)
• Perform cataract surgeries and other ophthalmic surgical procedures
• Evaluate and surgically treat trauma cases
• Subspecialty focus in glaucoma is preferred

Licenses, Certifications, & Requirements :

• Connecticut (CT) license preferred; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) considered
• Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO)
• DEA license required
