Job Title : Machine Operator

Job Description

Candidates will operate compounding extrusion machines used to extrude polymer. Additional objectives include becoming cross-functional in other areas and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Setup will involve loading and unloading spools of material from the machines, as well as assisting packagers with packaging cartridges while machines are still running.

The role requires lifting up to 20 lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs periodically.

Responsibilities

• Operate compounding extrusion machines to extrude polymer.
• Load and unload spools of material from the machines.
• Assist packagers with packaging of cartridges while machines are running.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Become cross-functional in other areas as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with extrusion machines.
• Ability to operate single screw extrusion machines independently.
• 1+ year of experience in a machine operation role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with production and machine operating processes.
