About The Position
Job Title : Physical Therapy Assistant Job Specialty : Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday to Friday, Days Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week Experience : New grads are welcome;
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred License : State License Verification required Certifications : - 8 Hours of Dementia Training Must-Have : - Completed prescreen - Attached resume - License verification - Three references Job Description : - Assist physical therapists in providing rehabilitation services to patients.
- Conduct prescribed physical therapy treatments and exercises under the supervision of a physical therapist. - Document patient progress and report findings to the physical therapist.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment. - Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures. - Perform clerical duties associated with patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and continue education as required. - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including the completion of background checks : - County, Federal, and Multi-State Criminal Search (7 years or more) - Nationwide Sex Offender Search - HHS / OIG Search - GSA Search - SAM Search - CORI Massachusetts Background Additional requirement : Covid test to be taken 72 hours before the start date with results available 48 hours prior.
