Sr. Software Engineer Responsibilities :
- Responsible for technical activity and completion of the assigned task on time and within budget
- Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems or subsystems
- May use computer-aided engineering or other design / analysis software in the performance of assignments
- Completion of assigned tasks on time and meeting technical requirements
- Review customer specifications and requirements, and develops designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
- Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments
- Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services
Sr. Software Engineer Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field or equivalent relevant experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of an object-oriented programming language (i.e. C / C++, Java, Python and / or C#)
- Understanding of OOA / OOD Software Solutions
- Familiar with multi-threaded and IP socket programming techniques
- Practical Knowledge of UML design tools
- Familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse, or NetBeans IDEs
- US Citizen and ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
- Experience or working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Power BI and Dashboard
- DOORS experience strongly preferred
