This position is located at Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, and will support the F-35 Program. Selected candidate will primarily perform duties as a Site Security Manager in a Special Access Program environment for the F-35 Academic Training Center (ATC), reporting to the Lockheed Martin F-35 Air Force / Air National Guard Senior Security Manager.
Additionally, candidate will manage more than one functional area in Security, such as operational security, security education, personnel security, physical security, industrial security, investigations, and document control.
Position will be responsible for employee recruitment, training, performance management, work assignments, recognition / disciplinary actions, etc.
Develops, implements and recommends modifications to operating policies. Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Conducts briefings and participates in meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations.
Performs and manages other duties as assigned. Mission requirements may require alternative shift.
Manages more than one functional area in Security, such as facilities / plant protection, industrial security, investigations, governmental / program classified security, security engineering.
Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition / disciplinary actions.
Some travel may be required for this position.
Desired skills
1.) Prior L-Code Manager experience in a Lockheed Martin Security environment (F35 L-code experience a plus).
2.) Knowledge of F-35 Program Security requirements.
3.) Experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), assistant CPSO, or government Program Security Officer (PSO).
4.) Familiarization with the NISPOM. Experience working in a military environment.
5.) Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
6.) Ability to multi-task.
7.) Ability to be flexible and deal with constantly changing program requirements.
8.) Experience leading / managing people, teams and resources.
