Keeler & Co., a high-end residential and hospitality design firm with offices in Boston, MA and Seal Harbor, ME, is looking for a proactive, detail oriented, curious and motivated Assistant / Associate Designer to join our dynamic and nimble team.

With projects from Maine to Florida, Keeler & Co. cares deeply about the places and the spaces that our clients choose to call home.

Using a deliberate approach to design and a layered approach to decorating, we create homes and experiences that are personalized and bespoke - resonating intimately with those who inhabit and visit them.

We are looking for the perfect person to round out our talented, dedicated and dynamic team. The Assistant / Associate Designer shares our commitment to our clients, has a knack for asking the right questions, is a self-starter and a great communicator.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work directly with our Founder and Principal Designer and Interior Designer and assist with multiple projects simultaneously throughout the design process
  • Engage with and manage vendor communication throughout projects
  • Create design plans and architectural drawings in AutoCAD including floor plans, elevations, custom cabinetry, and more
  • Devise design presentations, proposals, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Source FF&A with guidance
  • Assist with preparation and participate in installations, as well as photography shoots.

Eligibility

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in an Interior Design focused major or creative course of study
  • Minimum of 2+ years in the interior design field
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe creative suite, Google Suite, Excel
  • Knowledge of design management software (Ivy preferred)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at various stage simultaneously with a strong attention to detail
  • Understands the importance of organization and processes
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Understanding of code, materials, and sourcing
  • Travel between two offices and clients is required
  • The office is dog friendly. All applicants must be OK with dogs.
