About the job
The Global Industry Marketing team is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to use your extensive industry domain knowledge in combination with your marketing skills to lead market engagement strategies for SAS in the health care provider, payer and life sciences markets.

As a Sr Product Marketing Manager, you will :
- Collaborate closely with sales, customer advisory, product management and other marketing roles to develop activation strategies that are aligned to our industry solutions and growth strategies.
- Act as a primary go to spokesperson with external audiences; Create and deliver credible and unique viewpoints to differentiate SAS in the market;
and Actively work with sales, field marketing, and product management to enable channel and product readiness.
- Create and communicate positioning and product marketing plans based on solution / industry domain expertise which leads the development of messaging and positioning.
- Perform analysis of the health and life sciences market to identify key trends and drivers, and use your expertise to form viewpoints on the impact of analytics and artificial intelligence.
Confidently share your findings and fact-based opinions within SAS and externally via blogs and / or webinars.
- Drive thought leadership activities including articles, whitepapers, blogs, videos, customer reference and story development, speaking engagements and involvement with key 3rd party organizations.
- Support regional demand generation activities in support of health and life sciences in line with the overall customer journey.
- Ensures all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires eight years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Consulting or related function in the technology industry, preferably in product marketing (experience in a specific industry may be used to satisfy this requirement).
- Experience working in the health care or life sciences industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
- Organizational skills for managing commitments, schedules, and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal skills, including the ability to translate technical information into simple, audience-appropriate language.
- Public speaking experience at physical and virtual events.
- Ability to travel.
