About The Position
Job Title : Radiographer II Job Specialty : Diagnostic X-Ray Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Saturday / Sunday / Monday 0630-1900 ER / OR / ICU (3x12 Hr) Guaranteed Hours : 36.
00 Experience : Preferred : One (1) year full-time experience as a certified or registered radiologic technology professional License : Current certification in radiography as required by the department Certifications : Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association;
ARDMS, ARRT, and / or CCI credentials in the radiologic technology specialty as required upon hire Must-Have : Knowledge of the techniques of diagnostic radiography- Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of radiographic equipment- Ability to prioritize assignments and assess, treat, and care for patients of varying ages- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly- Computer skills- Experience in pediatric radiology Job Description : Operate standard and portable radiology equipment to perform radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies- Assist physicians and perform specialized imaging procedures- Troubleshoot and resolve problems regarding equipment and / or film output- Act as a resource and preceptor for other radiographers and / or students- Participate in training programs to enhance radiology skills- Maintain records, inventory, and equipment- Perform other duties as assigned Schedule Notes : Work in ER / OR / ICU during assigned shifts
