Job Summary :

The Service Advisor at Genesis of Charlotte is a vital member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and overseeing all aspects of the service department.

This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.

This is a full-time position in the auto industry, located in Matthews, North Carolina.

Responsibilities :

  • Greet customers and listen to their concerns or complaints
  • Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers regarding their appointments
  • Provide customers with estimates for repair costs and obtain their authorization for work to be done
  • Communicate with technicians and service managers to keep customers updated on the progress of their repairs or maintenance
  • Coordinate loaner vehicles for customers if needed
  • Process customer payments and maintain accurate records
  • Address and resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a high level of expertise on Genesis vehicles and services to answer any customer questions
  • Ensure a clean and organized service department for a positive customer experience
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve department goals and objectives
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations and promote customer retention through exceptional service

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in the automotive industry is preferred
  • Previous customer service experience in the auto industry is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with automotive software
  • Must be able to work full-time, including some weekends and evenings

The Service Advisor at Genesis of Charlotte plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

They are the primary point of contact for customers who need maintenance or repair services for their vehicles.

The Service Advisor is responsible for accurately assessing and documenting customer concerns, recommending appropriate services, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the entire service process.

Responsibilities :

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns and document them accurately
  • Perform vehicle inspections and recommend necessary maintenance or repairs
  • Provide cost estimates and explanations of services to customers
  • Schedule appointments and communicate service updates to customers
  • Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or similar role is preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
