24 hours unbillable1.5x OT / Call Back / HolidayOT starts after 48 hoursCandidates may request off the equivalent of 1 week of their contracted hours.
For a candidate who is contracted for 36 hours a week; they may request 36 hours off. This can be done in up to a 7-day time block (1 week) or a total of 36 hours if the dates requested off are separate.
A candidate contracted for 40 hours / week would be able to request off 40 hours. Candidates will be considered for orientations scheduled up to 6 weeks out.
RN and CNA orientations are held every other week on Tuesday and WednesdayThe 257 licensed bed facility (acute and sub-acute care) is located on a beautiful suburban campus that handles more than 23,000 admissions and over 52,000 emergency room visits annually.

In addition, Gilchrist provides grief counseling and other bereavement services to 6,500 families throughout central Maryland.
