Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our flagship New York City location in Soho, Manhattan.
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of client experience, service quality, and business profitability as well as embodying the spirit of the Crazy Pizza brand.
This role requires a hands-on leader who possesses a passion for hospitality, strong business acumen, and ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
The ideal candidate has deep experience, knowledge, and appreciation for Italian Cuisine.
Essential Duties of This Role :
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and smooth service while upholding Crazy Pizza’s brand, culinary and operating standards
- Develop and oversee a high-performing service and culinary team committed to delivering exceptional guest service in accordance with Crazy Pizza global brand standards
- Optimize restaurant P&L by maximizing revenue opportunities and managing operating costs to budgets
- Oversee training for management and line level employees, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties proficiently
- Facilitate a fun and convivial restaurant while also protecting the health, safety and well-being of our guests and employees
- Leverage and collaborate with Crazy Pizza marketing team to establish and maintain vibrant social media presence in NYC
- Enhance the Crazy Pizza experience and service through guest engagement inside the restaurant and on various digital platforms (Seven Rooms, Google, Yelp, etc.)
- Perform other duties as directed by Crazy Pizza management team
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in a high-volume fine dining restaurant
- Strong leadership, communication and team management skills
- Knowledge of restaurant finance tasks, such as purchase and inventory management and tracking various restaurant KPIs
- Knowledge and fluency in Italian Cuisine
- Experience with budgeting and cost management
- Passion for hospitality with client-centric approach
- Be able to talk, bend, stand, lift, sit, kneel, walk for an extended period
- Able and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
