Special Education Teacher
Location : Little Rock, AR
Job Type : Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide specialized instruction and adapt teaching methods.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.
- Utilize various instructional techniques to engage students.
- Assess students' progress and adjust methods as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents / guardians and participate in IEP meetings.
- Maintain accurate student records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field; Masters preferred.
- Valid Arkansas teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
- Experience with a range of disabilities.
- Strong understanding of IEP development.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
