Job DescriptionA mid-sized law firm in the Boston, MA area is looking for a Business Development and Marketing Specialist to join their growing Business Development team.

This individual will be responsible for assisting with the Firm's business development efforts, including preparation, submission and tracking of proposals and new business pitches, and working with the business development manager(s) on associate coaching and other BD efforts.

These efforts will be directed towards the 6 divisions within the firm : real estate, business, corporate, taxation, litigation, private clients.

This role is non-exempt and offers hybrid flexibility, option to work remotely 2 days a week. This is a salary position offering a range between $55,000 and $75,000.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.

Skills and Requirements- 3-4 years of experience supporting marketing efforts, or business development in professional services (ideally law firm setting)- Proficiency with Microsoft Office- Powerpoint / presentation experience is a must (Outlook, Excel for data input)- Strong experience utilizing CRM Databases (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.

to manage an existing and potential client list- Experience with technical writing or content writing : Social media posts, attorneys profiles / blurbs, summarizing articles, sending in-mail outreach- Experience preparing, submitting and tracking proposals and new business pitches (partnership proposals- working with Attorneys to create pitches and PowerPoint decks for presenting to and acquiring new clients)-Experience with collaterals and RFP's : Working with attorneys and clients directly - Action oriented approach to tasks and initiatives and an emphasis on technical components (RFP's, Content writing, social media posts, In-mail) as opposed to delegation-Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofing skills for content and context.

A high degree of organization, flexibility, and reliability to set priorities, manage multiple responsibilities, and work well under pressure.
