Now Hiring : Director of Nursing
Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high standards of care.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing assisted living operations.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident care needs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed.
- Manage staffing levels, recruitment, retention, and performance evaluations of nursing personnel.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and staff engagement.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to optimize resident care outcomes.
- Participate in budget planning and management related to nursing services.
Qualifications :
- Must have 3+ years of experience as a DON.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of CA.
- Proven leadership experience in a nursing management role, preferably in an assisted living facility.
