The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction management and a proven track record of successfully completing large scale projects from 10M to 50M dollars.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all aspects of large-scale electrical projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Lead project teams, providing guidance and direction to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the duration of the project.
  • Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts.
  • Supervise / mentor the work of other project managers and assistant project managers.
  • Coordinate all aspects of construction with on-site project superintendent.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 8 consecutive years of experience in commercial electrical project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial electrical projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving project goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, project teams, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Excel, Accubid estimating software, Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus.
  • Outstanding negotiation and change order management skills.
  • Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee and project performance.
  • Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
