Job Summary

Responsible for the strategic direction of Field Operations for the Western New England Region. Reports Company's performance and project status to Region VP, Division, and HQ.

Participates in formulating and administering Company policies and developing long-range goals and objectives. Drives change transformation and strategy execution to achieve specific business results.

Creates business strategy to focus on strengths, competitive advantage, and differentiation. Incorporates broad knowledge to address complex, unusual, and critical issues.

Develops long term plans that impact the achievement of business results. Recognizes profitability and revenue potential in business opportunities.

Demonstrates leadership versatility.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Oversees large scale technical operations in region ensuring alignment in strategy; identifies and plans for market impacts and resolutions.
  • Develops strategy into mission, vision, goals, and objectives for functional teams; Reviews work from a long-term perspective and against the function's goals.
  • Responsible for leading large, complex, and diverse teams with direct reports and a total organization size greater than 300 employees.
  • Develops and plans evolution of work for Technicians, future work mix & work types, and career pathing.
  • Provides leadership to Field Operations staff to ensure activities of installers, subcontractors and others are performed optimally and in compliance with Company standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Operates as a strategic planning partner with Division Shared Operations leadership for development of business plans supporting overall strategy.
  • Serves as a Senior Leader for the field P&L; accountable for building expense and capital budget plans.
  • Maintains continual awareness of competitors in market, supports expansion opportunities; works with Sales and Marketing teams to achieve RGU (Revenue Generating Unit) growth.
  • Serves as an executive agent of the company signing legally binding documents and making commitments on behalf of the company.
  • Approves policies and major operating procedures.
  • Practices regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
