Dewberry is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer / Project Manager to join our Transportation design group in our Tampa, FL office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drainage plans and reports for transportation projects
• Perform and collaborate on drainage analyses with other Drainage staff
• Train and mentor junior Drainage Department Staff
• Serve in Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager roles depending on project specifics
• Prepare marketing materials and serve as Drainage Lead during project pursuit presentations
• Meet and build strong working relationships with clients and permitting agencies
• Perform QC reviews of design documentation and plans prepared by internal Staff and other consultants

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 10+ years of relevant FDOT drainage design experience
• Florida PE license preferred
• Experience with FDOT drainage design criteria
• Experience with permitting requirements of Florida Water Management Districts
