Role Summary The Audio Group at Rivian is responsible for in-vehicle acoustics, media and infotainment playback, audio hardware design and much more.

We have a deep passion for audio and how things sound. We are looking for someone to design and implement our audio hardware and integration of all our vehicle platforms Responsibilities Define the audio experience in all Rivian platforms Specify acoustic targets for Rivian vehicles Work with cross functional team and vendors to design optimal integration of acoustic components Qualifications BS or MS in Computer Science, EEE or related program with a focus on acoustics 5+ years of experience in acoustic integration Experience with acoustic simulations small signal models, finite element analysis Experience with acoustic measurements AP, anechoic chamber, product level Experience with mechanical integration of acoustic components buzz, rattles, grill designs Enthusiastic self-starter Good communication and documentation Audio electronics design preferred Pay Disclosure Salary Range for Bay Area Based Applicants : $167,400 - $209,300 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law) Benefits Summary : Rivian provides robust medical / Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26 Equal Opportunity Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
