Do you have a passion for promoting the health and well-being of students? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to provide comprehensive healthcare support within our educational community in near Fairfield, CA
Location : Fairfield, CA
Job Type : 31+ hours
Responsibilities :
- 7 : 30 to 4 every day
- K-12 most likely only One Elem and One High School
- PRIMARY FUNCTION : Conducts a health services program at one or more elementary and / or secondary schools for the evaluation, improvement and protection of the health of students and school personnel in accordance with state law and district policies and procedures.
As well as supervising LVNs
DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE TO : Principals or Director of Special Education
Qualifications :
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to school health services.
