The Advertised PhD Positions Are Supervised By Dr. Zahra K. Motamed, Whose Research Group Specializes In Cardiovascular Mechanics And Disease Modeling. Two Main Research Streams Are Available For Prospective Students

• Finite Element Modeling, Computational Modeling, and Software Development for Cardiovascular Pathophysiology :
• Development and implementation of finite element models, Lattice Boltzmann modeling, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) techniques.
• Software development and image processing tailored to exploring cardiovascular mechanics and disease progression.
• Experimental Modeling and Advanced Flow Diagnostics :
• In vitro and ex vivo experimental modeling using cardiovascular simulators.
• Application of particle image velocimetry (PIV) for detailed hemodynamic analyses.
