The Maintenance Lead is responsible for advanced repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems in the manufacturing plant.
This role demands technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and train technicians. The technician ensures efficient and safe operation of machinery to support production goals and works collaboratively to achieve departmental and operational objectives.
Position Responsibilities :
- Performs skilled maintenance tasks, including installing and repairing machinery and instrumentation controls throughout the distribution center.
- Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains high-speed industrial process equipment.
- Diagnose causes of malfunctions and correct them through field measurements and programmable logic control software. Also, Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Performs preventive maintenance (PM) on machinery and equipment using advanced tools and techniques.
- Conducts routine inspections and audits of equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance.
- Maintains and services HVAC systems, plumbing, and other facility systems.
- Follows and adheres to safety lockout procedures and distribution center safety rules, maintaining excellent housekeeping practices to help keep the work environment clean.
- Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Participates in root cause analysis and corrective action activities to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Participates in safety training and promotes a safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Ensures all maintenance work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate daily Shift maintenance activities.
- Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
- Performs any additional tasks as assigned to support company operations.

Requirements :
- Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- One (1) year of previous production experience
- Bi-lingual English / Spanish preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of Food Manufacturing Machine Repair experience
- Ability to rotate shifts based on department need
- Forklift experience
- Schedule must be able to rotate shifts if required. Weekend work when scheduled.

- Exposure to high noise levels and high heat environment
Schedule :
- 1st shift (6 : 00 am - 2 : 00 pm)
- Weekends are required
- Must be flexible to rotate
