About The Position
Job Title : Physical Therapy Assistant Job Specialty : Rehabilitation Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Experience : Open to new graduates;
SNF experience preferred License : Must provide license verification Certifications : None specified Must-Have : Covid test required 72 hours prior to the start date, with results issued 48 hours beforehand Job Description : Assist physical therapists in providing treatments and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure a comprehensive rehabilitation plan.- Maintain accurate records of patient care, condition, progress, and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.- Support patients in exercises, treatments, and use of therapy equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to promote understanding and progress.- Provide support for patient mobility, transfer, and care as required.
