Senior Accountant Opportunity - Near Miami International Airport - Up to $80,000
Growth centric opportunity for an individual to partner the CFO with all aspects of finance. This includes ad-hoc projects such as system upgrades, implementation of process, introduction of AI and automation into finance.
The CFO is a very supportive individual who is seeking a passionate Senior Accountant who wants to learn and be hands on.
Responsibilities include :
- Monthly close including supporting the financial statement production
- Analysis of the monthly financial statements
- Business partnering with non financial stakeholders to articulate trends and performance
- General ledger management and close including journal entries
- Reconciliations including bank and balance sheet
- Support the payables and receivables team when needed
- Assist with the annual close process
- Ad hoc projects including systems, automation and process improvement
- Ad hoc reporting when required
Applicants must have :
- 2+ years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance (or similar field) is essential
- Passionate and driven attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Have practical experience within a finance focused position
- Be excited by technology and integration into finance - Not afraid of it!
- Be willing to work onsite in Hialeah near Miami International Airport
