Sr. Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer, Project KuiperPropulsion

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite

broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable

internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve

designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance

to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to

schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other

organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

THE ROLE

Have you

wanted an opportunity to manufacture electric propulsion systems

for an advanced satellite constellation? The Propulsion

Manufacturing Engineer will develop, implement and refine processes

used to fabricate and qualify electric propulsion systems. You will

mentor colleagues within the team.

Key job

responsibilities

• Support architecture

determination and designing the propulsion system configuration

and reduce costs

manufacturing, qualification and acceptance tests including

hardware and workflow design

process development tests

assembly and test results to generate design guidance.

Coordinate with other Kuiper team members to establish a path

towards volume production.

BASIC

QUALIFICATIONS

specifications, design verification plans and functional test

procedures

manufacturing capacity or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent

execute product design from concept to production

Experience with the project management of technical projects

Our compensation reflects the cost of

labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this

position ranges from $128,600 / year in our lowest geographic market

up to $213,600 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based

on a number of factors including market location and may vary

depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon

is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered,

equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be

provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a
