Produce Stocker - Part-Time
Description : Kimberton Whole Foods in Ottsville is looking for a Part-Time Produce Stocker to join their team!We would love for you to join our vibrant and purpose-driven team at Kimberton Whole Foods, where integrity, sustainability, and supporting local farmers are the pillars of our mission! Schedule : Sunday 7am-3 : 30pm, Monday 6 : 30am-8 : 30pm(varies), Fridays 7am-3 : 30pm, and Saturday 10am-6 : 30pm. Pay : $15-$17 hourly to start.
Age Requirement : Must be 16 years or older.Benefits : Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.
DAILY OPERATIONS : The Produce Team Member's primary responsibilities to execute the following. Provide exceptional customer service to all.
Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items. Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
Working in collaboration with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.
Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department. Understands KWF inventory management practices.
Requirements : PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES : Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
Lifting, gripping and carrying objects up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
Walking short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
Climate ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
