Summary

As a Senior Programmer Analyst (UNIX / LINUX / C / SQL) at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities.

Your role in our mission

Take a close look at some of the details that contribute to Gainwell’s industry-leading tools and technologies in this challenging position.

• Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs
• Analyze, design and write specs and reqs from which we develop and code programs
• Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project the manager in assigning tasks and work closely with a team
• Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that arise
• Develop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviews
• Participate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as needed
• Design system components and delegate responsibilities to team members

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of applications development and batch programming experience with C in Unix / Linux
• Oracle SQL, PL / SQL, complex SQL work experience and query tuning expertise.
• Experience working with Rules Engine would be a plus and BPA Rules Sheets.
• Expertise in Batch job automation and notification services.
• Java and / or .NET experience is a plus.
• Healthcare / Medicaid work experience is a plus.

What you should expect in this role

• Hybrid role : considering applicants who live within a 50 mile radius Tallahassee, FL and are able to be onsite in the office very Friday, and work from home Monday-Thursday
• Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
• Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
