Clinic Administrator - Pain Center

Leadership & Operations

  • Oversees daily operations of the Pain Center, ensuring efficient patient flow, effective scheduling, and timely delivery of care.
  • Collaborates with providers, nursing, and ancillary departments to enhance coordination and communication across the continuum of care.
  • Develops and implements policies, procedures, and performance standards to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements (CMS and TJC standards).
  • Participates in hospital-wide initiatives related to quality improvement, patient safety, and service excellence.
  • Strategic Planning & Program Development
  • Works with executive leadership to expand service lines, including new procedures, interventional technologies, and outpatient services.
  • Analyzes performance data, referral patterns, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and align departmental goals with organizational strategy.
  • Leads initiatives to enhance patient access, reduce wait times, and improve overall experience.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Develops and manages departmental budgets, monitors productivity metrics, and ensures responsible use of resources.
  • Collaborates with Revenue Cycle and Coding teams to ensure accurate charge capture and payer compliance.
  • Oversees supply management, equipment maintenance, and capital requests in coordination with Materials Management and Administration.
  • Quality & Compliance

  • Monitors patient outcomes, satisfaction scores, and clinical indicators to identify and address performance improvement opportunities.
  • Ensures ongoing compliance with infection control, safety, and documentation standards.
  • Leads Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives specific to Pain Management.
  • Staff Development & Engagement

  • Supervises and mentors Pain Center staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
  • Conducts performance evaluations, develops training programs, and ensures staff competency in procedures, safety, and customer service.
  • Collaborates with HR and Nursing Education to support ongoing staff education and certification.
  • Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Leadership, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
  • Possession of valid state license as Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in outpatient or procedural pain management, surgical services, or clinical administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory readiness, program development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive operational and clinical excellence

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently, have cognitive skills for math, reading, filing and sterile technique skills.

  • Requires physical ability for long-term standing, occasional sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching with reaching above head and below waist.
