Wee Care Pediatrics is currently hiring for a Radiology Technologist (or Radiology Practical Technician) to work in their Layton clinic on an as-needed basis (PRN).
PRN Shift Availability will be :
1 : 30 pm-5 : 30 pm
5 : 30 pm -10 pm
1 pm-8 pm
Job Description :
As a Radiology Technologist / Radiology Practical Technician you will be responsible to perform all approved x-ray procedures and complete necessary documentation in a very busy pediatric clinic.
You will work with children of all ages and must possess a special set of patient-interaction skills. Day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Performs diagnostic medical x-rays and routes to provider / radiologist for review.
- Documents x-rays taken for each patient.
- Contact patients / parents with x-ray results.
- Performs and documents daily quality control and instrument cleaning and maintenance.
Job Qualifications :
- Must have a current Radiology Technologist License or Radiology Practical Technician license in the State of Utah.
- One year of pediatric experience strongly desired.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member within a very busy clinic.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.
- Knowledge of universal precaution procedures in medical safety practices.
