An Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. They ensure that electrical work meets relevant codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components
• Use testing devices to identify problems and ensure functionality
• Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
• Install and maintain lighting systems
• Work with various power distribution systems
