Job Title : Licensed Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians

Pay Range : based upon experience, ranging from $18-$23 for Apprentice and $23-$30 for Journeyman

Per Diem : $100 per day worked

This particular project will be medium size commercial work, at various Dollar General locations throughout Alabama. Work will include, terminations, lighting, wire pulling, and running / bending conduit.

You MUST be licensed in the state of ALABAMA to be considered for the position.

Responsibilities :

For Journeyman Electricians :

• Installation and Maintenance : Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to apprentice electricians. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project success.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently. Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address problems.
• Safety : Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on job sites. Conduct safety assessments and implement corrective actions as necessary.

For Apprentice Electricians :

Learning and Development : Assist Journeyman Electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.

• Blueprints and Documentation : Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Assist in maintaining accurate records of work performed.
• Safety : Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Report potential hazards and actively participate in creating a safe work environment.

Qualifications :

For Journeyman Electricians :

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license and Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.

For Apprentice Electricians :

• Valid Apprentice license and proven experience as an Apprentice Electrician.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success.
• Commitment to safety and following guidelines.

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Certifications :

Valid Electrical license REQUIRED.
