We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join OS Security team at Snap Inc!

What you’ll do :

Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders and to enhance device security and user privacy

Design and build security solutions to facilitate secure manufacturing of Spectacles

Research, design and develop cutting edge security features to enhance the security posture for Spectacles

Improve infrastructure for fuzzing and automate security validation

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Experience in platform-level vulnerability hardening / testing in Linux based systems

Skilled with security auditing and risk assessment

In-depth understanding of authentication, security protocols and applied cryptography

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience

3+ years of experience with software development in one or more languages, and data structures / algorithms

1+ year of experience building software for data privacy or security on Linux based systems

Experience in cryptography, application / system security focussed on embedded systems development

Preferred Qualifications :

Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline

Experience with Trusted execution platforms such as ARM Trustzone

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

These pay zones may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for this position is $152,000-$228,000 annually.

The base salary range for this position is $144,000-$217,000 annually.

The base salary range for this position is $129,000-$194,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
