Project Manager - Facility & Pipeline Construction
I NDUSTRY : Oil and Gas - Pipeline Construction and Maintenance
LOCATION : Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
CONTEX T : Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee pipeline construction and oil & gas facilities projects, averaging $500 thousand to $10 million.
This role encompasses managing projects from bid to completion, ensuring they meet budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Candidates will be considered for both the facility and pipeline divisions. Relocation is an option.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee project scope, budget, and quality control. Manage the entire project life cycle, including bid preparation and project closeout.
- Handle cost tracking, budgeting, projections, and change orders. Ensure financial management aligns with project goals.
- Work with Equipment Manager to determine equipment needs. Coordinate with clients and service providers, maintaining clear and open communication.
- Review performance data (financial, budget, sales) to measure productivity and progress. Monitor team progress and manage time and billing requirements.
- Review design documents for accuracy and conformance. Ensure projects adhere to design specifications.
- Provide regular project updates to management and clients. Get involved in reporting and financial decisions as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in pipeline construction or oil & gas facilities, with a focus on contractor-side roles.
Estimating experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and CAD.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and instrumentation diagrams.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience with gas plants, SWDs, facilities, or oil & gas lines is required. Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proven ability to manage projects effectively and interface with clients.
