Description of Role

SRI Telecom is seeking experienced Fiber Splicers (Level II or higher) to support projects across the country. This is a 100% travel position working on underground, aerial, and ISP fiber networks in both new builds and maintenance environments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a crew.

Tasks

• Perform fiber optic cable splicing, testing, and troubleshooting
• Interpret splice plans, read prints, and follow customer specifications
• Maintain accurate project documentation including test results and daily logs
• Handle and maintain splicing equipment, tools, and safety gear
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and safety procedures
• Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and onsite contacts
