Responsibilities Mental Health Associate (FT - 7a-7p) - Adult Unit Job Description The Brook KMI is a 98-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for adolescents, adults and seniors.

Our specialized treatment services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of highly trained psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, addiction counselors, nurses, pastoral counselors and activity therapists.

Website : Mental Health Associate Serves as an active member of the clinical staff; maintains a therapeutic relationship with all patients;

assists in maintenance of a safe, clean, therapeutic environment; assures patient participation in program activities; and performs technical / patient care duties relative to patient’s health and safety.

Job Duties / Responsibilities : Knows location and condition of all patients at all times Ensure proper hand off of clinical information Performs safety checks daily and as needed per guidelines Manage group of patients in outside activities;

Some college preferred. Years of experience needed No experience required. Direct patient care experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.

Certifications Must maintain current CPR certification. Computer skills Ability to : gain training through web-based programs;

participate in employee surveys; enroll in company benefits. Communication Must possess excellent verbal skills in communicating with patients, coworkers and visitors.
