Officer, Security - Resort Pool

Summary Statement : The Security Officer will take pride in serving as a brand ambassador. This role may patrol, stand a static post, respond to potential emergency situations, medical incidents, disturbances, or requests for assistance.

This role will ensure the safety and experience of guests, team members and vendors while providing a world-renowned customer service.

Primary Job Duties : Includes, but is not limited to : Patrol the resort pool area to prevent and detect any signs of unauthorized entry, vandalism, or other security breaches.

Enforce resort pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Monitor pool activities to prevent accidents and respond promptly to any emergencies.

Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and addressing any security concerns they may have.

Collaborate with resort staff, including lifeguards and management, to maintain a secure environment. Complete detailed reports on security incidents, maintenance issues, and any other relevant information.

Assist in the coordination of emergency response procedures in case of incidents such as medical emergencies or evacuations.

Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions to the appropriate authorities. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and procedures.

Use personal device / cellular phone for job related tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications : Includes but is not limited to : Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and observational skills. Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift / move objects if necessary.

This is an on-call position requiring flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed. Preferred : Experience 1-3 years in field or equivalent Previous Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience.

Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting. Minimum Education and Experience : High School Diploma / General Education Diploma.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations : Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Position required licenses : Alcohol Awareness Card Nevada Gaming Registration CPR Certification Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Physically able to capture and detain individuals as necessary. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality.

Ability to stand or walk for the entire shift. Bending and reaching. Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs. Eye / hand coordination.
