Position Overview : We are seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager to oversee data center equipment supply planning for both sustaining and new products.
This role involves interpreting demand signals and translating them into effective supply and inventory plans to support optimal planning decisions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage material supply and inventory to meet existing and new product demand requirements.
- Coordinate with Demand Planning to adjust material plans based on fluctuating demand.
- Communicate proactively with internal customers regarding sustaining and new product material plans and statuses.
- Identify and resolve supply chain gaps and inefficiencies promptly.
- Document process solutions and requirements clearly.
- Define and manage business metrics and goals to evaluate supply chain performance.
- Leverage market intelligence and statistical data to enhance inventory models and supply chain buffers.
- Develop short- and long-term supply models to minimize costs and maintain service levels.
- Create and justify inventory buffer strategies that optimize cost and flexibility.
Minimum Qualifications (MQs) :
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Project management experience with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical groups at all organizational levels.
- Proficient in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools and capable of creating and managing models using spreadsheets and databases.
Preferred Qualifications (PQs) :
- Master's degree (MS / MBA) in Business Process Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Expertise in analytics, SQL, and BigQuery.
- Supply Chain Certification.
- Knowledge of financial and cost accounting practices.
- Deep understanding of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, including development and implementation of planning systems.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Experience in planning materials for new product launches and transitions.
