Who You Are...
You are a Class A CDL driver that enjoys being responsible for operating and maintaining a delivery truck and / or trailer, being the face of the Company while completing daily deliveries to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load / Unload of trucks after material and receiver are inspected
- Prep and package material for shipment as needed
- Complete operator safety checklist on truck prior to use
- Comply with all maintenance and preventative maintenance requirements
- Complete daily log / mileage books accurately and legibly
- Operate a truck crane to load and unload products
- Excellent customer service with on-time deliveries
- Promote a culture of proactive safety
- Maintain shipping board
- Assist with placing checked in material in the bin location and note on packing slip
- Assist with supplying materials to fabrication and stages material for assembly and manufacturing as needed
- Provide accurate, detailed, and timely paperwork and reports to management
- Proactively maintain your own housekeeping and keep vehicle clean
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Class A CDL
- Crane experience preferred
- 2 years OTR experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a drivers background check
- Ability to exert up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Good visual acuity
- Ability to prioritize and use time efficiently
- Basic math skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work overtime hours when necessary as workload dictates, including weekdays and weekends
- A high degree of reliability, accountability, professionalism and the ability to work with minimal supervision
