Job Description
A large sustainable engineering company is seeking a Principal Environmental Permitting Project Manager to sit remotely in Houston, Austin or Louisiana and visit clients onsite.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead teams of biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, engineers, and other technical specialists to successfully execute environmental permitting projects for oil and gas, linear utilities, renewable energy, and rail clients.
You will lead project teams in developing permitting strategies, and coordinate with clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
Therefore, it is expected that you have demonstrated experience with state and federal laws and regulations, including the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act.
Additionally, you will provide senior level quality assurance / quality control for client deliverables, including agency consultations and permit applications.
In this role, you will also be involved in supporting and / or managing the growth of new and existing client relationships in conjunction with business development leaders and account leaders.
This will include leveraging existing client relationships, supporting client account teams, and leading pursuits and proposal opportunities, including scope and cost development.
