Epiq Solutions is an engineering company that develops Software Defined Radio (SDR) transceiver cards, systems, and solutions that push the state of the art in cellular and RF sensing, security, and wireless communications.

The Epiq Solutions team has expertise spanning RF system design, physical layer signal processing, and higher layer protocol processing including 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G cellular and other personal communications protocols.

Epiq Solutions systems are utilized by numerous commercial and defense / security customers throughout the world, providing solutions for multiple markets including embedded wireless transceivers, cellular survey, RF recording, technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM), wireless intrusion detection system (WIDS) and wireless cybersecurity.

While the company has been steadily growing since its inception in 2009, its small business and team-focused culture continues to thrive and contribute greatly to its success.

JOB SUMMARY

At Epiq Solutions, the senior project manager owns project launch, planning, control, and delivery against timeline and budget.

The senior project manager works across functions and with customers to ensure we delight customers, deliver for the business and improve our internal tools and processes.

  • Lead multi-disciplinary development efforts to meet technical, schedule, and cost requirements. The majority are fixed price in nature.
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities including prioritization, mitigation, escalation, and resolution.
  • Negotiate and agree with the customer on achievement of key requirements and objectives of the program.
  • Maintain hands-on control of the program through a process of regular program reviews, design reviews, and team meetings.
  • Maintain program visibility through regular technical, management, and progress meetings. Interface with customers to maintain effective relationships to instill and enhance the customer's confidence in Epiq's ability to deliver.
  • Demonstrate leadership across the organization, promoting common core values.
  • Maintain and enhance our efficiency as we grow rapidly to meet market demands.
  • Help develop and support the project management discipline within the company.
  • Evolve and mature our tools and processes through end-to-end process development, transformation, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements : REQUIRED SKILLS

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Ten or more years of project management experience in technology product and software development with a track record of strong performance
  • Experiencing leading product development using a formal process
  • Experience in Agile scrum practices, facilitating events and meetings
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to continuous change and growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work well with a great deal of autonomy
  • Ability to solve problems with innovative thinking
  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy
  • Financial literacy and business operations experience a plus
  • Willing and able to obtain a security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship

DESIRED SKILLS

  • PMP certification a plus
  • Scrum certified Project Manager a plus
  • Change management training a plus
  • Experience as a project manager of federal contracts preferred
